man...that song is so depressing...the first time i heard the song was at the end of one of my favorite movies of all time...Donnie Darko...it's such a great movie...but i think you chose a good song for a good picture...it's sad that those towers are not here today.

Brilliant angle and a suiting use of a great song.
The lines and textures seems to flow on the page in the right ways, drawing the viewer's eyes around time image. As for the grain, in my opinion it works very well. It emphasizes that eerie "days gone by" feeling.
Great work with this piece. Cheers.

Well done, interesting angle, very much like Tseng Kwong Chi's Citizen of the World work.
I also enjoy quite a bit the textures. So yeah. Nice.

Beautiful shot at an odd perspective which gives the towers a feeling of both mystique and grand proportions. I like the lines that are created from the buildings as well, as they almost seem to create some sort of strange design.
I also like the black and white choice, especially since there wouldn't be much color in this photo anyhow. The contrast is quite striking between the light grey sky and the dark buildings, but with plenty of detail.
My only complaint is the graininess of the shot. Otherwise I have to say this is a great photo that just can't be taken any longer.

Wonderful shot. Looks like we stood in nearly the same spot to get that angle: [link] That was shot on my first trip to NYC as well...I'm glad you got to see them before 9/11, they were quite impressive and photos of them are now haunting to look at. Did you go to the roof? Incredible view from up there.

there wouldn't be anything else to see then the sky if this pic had been taken these days. great angle, great lightning, i even like the noise - whether intended or not - in that pic. one of the best architecture pics i've seen here - and the events occured after that pic was taken makes it historical too. --> +fav
