Amazing Shot!
They're such an amazing band... i've seen them live some months ago and took some pics, but something happened inside my camera and i've lost them all -_-
Anyway, congratulations!

Ah, I am quite a fan of this.
The placement is perfect, in my mind. I know that, were I taking this shot, that's where I would've liked to have put him. I don't know why I'm focusing on such a random detail, but I think it's extremely well done- it makes him seem so powerful and emotionally charged- it's like you caught all of the energy he was giving off.
I also find it amazing that, in what seems to be a very dark scene, you managed to capture such a clear picture and keep it relatively fine grained/noise free. This is an excellent capture; as I look at it, I imagine him singing and it feels very real. I'm waiting for him to break back into motion and start playing in front of my eyes.
May I ask if you recorded the exposure? I'm just curious because the grain is so great and the colors and skintone are so well preserved.

Much less grain than I'd expect for ISO 800...wow. You're lucky to be able to dip all the way down to f/2.8- I have no such luck and have to usually shoot at f/3.5 or higher.
