What is vector art? I learned it in college but I can't figure out what it is.

Vectoring is basically a trace art using lines and making it similar to the style from the show. At least that is what I see of it.

So basically sample artwork?

I guess so. I'm pretty sure a google search of vector artwork could explain it better than me.

Found it, it talks in techno/mathematical babble. I don't understand it.

Instead of pixels it's made up of mathmatical lines, this enables it to be resized to any dimension without any loss of qualilty.

Oh boy, I guess I need to take math 101 again.

No math necessary just draw and let the program take care of all the awful calculations.

How can I get an image with no background color? I've made Vector art before but it always has a background.

What program are you using?

If you export as a png, it defaults to a transparent background. At least it does for me.

Well in Illustrator, it for some reason keeps the white background.

Weird, I'm not sure why it does that. Could it be the program you're viewing it in? I think some programs give a false impression of having a white background.

Preview always has a white background.

Do you have the transparent option on?

Don't know where that is. Only type of transparency I know is Opacity.

I don't Critique vectors sorry but this is pretty good I only see 2 mistakes, hind leg that touches the tail has a bad line and there is not enough of a curve in the joint of the inside line on the front bang near her wide opened eye at the top of the line.
