Oh I got it now... the mist is not surrounding the models. That's why it look fake to me.

I think the touch up makes it look more like a set (with a backdrop) than an actually setting. It's the hazy mist layer that isn't working for me because it stands out as some sort of mask or lyaer because for it doesn't feel like the fog/mist is going between the branches there is no depth to it. Though maybe that is the effect you wanted. And for some reason the highlights on her shoulders make her stand out even more making the background feel like it is a fake set. I don't know why that is.
But yeah the mood as changed and I like that though I think the colors are just a little too subdued for my taste they are taking on corpse colors you know. Still nice photo.

I do like the retouching done to the girls laying down, but I do not like how the girl standing up looks. You kind of made her look like a withered old lady, which makes the picture lose its appeal. I also don't like how much color was taken out, especially the tree D: It has naturally pleasing colors, and it looks bland when you take all of them out.
I don't know, maybe it's just me >__>

sweet, how come is the course really easy? well we should shoot something one day like this week coming? like get some models and makeup etc.. got a few contacts on model mayhem that we could use, we just need a good idea and location.. u got any ideas for a shoot?

No, I just failed the year at uni.
Sure man, I will come up to London. If I can crash somewhere or maybe just for an afternoon. If you can get some friends together or models that would be sick. As for ideas, we should brainstorm. What is the areas around you like? Know any parks etc? With some strobes it would be cool to get some group shots.

shit really? u gunna retake the year? yea will try and rally some troops for a shoot. yea theres richmond park which is really nice and theres the river etc... a few locations. group shoots sounds good would be nice for the shoot to have like a theme/concept dyou think?
