I used to night read almost everyday when I was a child, I stopped as i got older. But recently its a habit I've gotten back into.We used to have all the Harry Potter books but they got a little bit destroyed.... They're missing a lot of pages..

I got a new copy for Chamber Of Secrets and I'm reading that at the moment

My advice: do not use black color for shading at all, it ruins the atmosphere of every picture, which meant to be rendered in realistic manner (better to say in EVERY SINGLE art). Forget about the existence of pure white or pure black, usage of tones as colors is a very common mistake.
To make everything look more "nightly" take blue/deep blue/cyan for shadows, they work pretty well in contrast with yellow light (which is your lamp).Β
In all other aspects, keep up the good workΒ Β
