Thank you. Just starting to get serious with heightmaps. I had a small hangup with them for a while, feeling like they turn the fractals from largely accidental to largely deliberate, but there's so much potential to not explore.

I very much agree, I tend to use heightmaps sparingly, I want to be surprised with what turns up
