I'm trying to be more economical with my strokes. Do more with less kinda thing. I think I need to use a harder brush and go bolder to get the effect I'm aiming for. I'm still a bit of a wuss with my strokes, I tend to rely on really low-flow, soft as hell airbrush.

I think he looks good, and I like your other stuff as well. Maybe you could save this like it is and play with it more to see if you can work out the parts that displease you

TBH I'm never really 100% happy with anything I do. Nature of the beast I guess. I prefer to just move on and always try to do better on the next thing. I think if I ever did something I was totally happy with I might just stop altogether

I'm currently procrastinating like hell over a photomanip for a competition on worth1000, 3 days left and counting and I'm still at sketch stage
Otherwise I'm going to keep going with the True Blood theme since 1 - I love the show and 2 - copying portraits is good practice. I can feel myself getting better at it. So the question is - who next? I've been putting off Bill and Eric cos they're done to death but I'll have to get around to them sooner or later. I'm thinking maybe Andy Bellefleur since he's one of my favourite characters after Jessica.

It's not really that I'm having a hard time it's just something my brain always does to me but I'm used to it. Basically I get a week to do something and the first day I get a concept together then I'll basically do anything rather than concentrate on the comp entry until it's almost too late. Then I have to pull an all-nighter to get it done. No biggie, like I said - it's always like this. I'm used to it now.
