History: Ackley has been through a lot in his life. He lost his parents just as he was hitting puberty so his emotions were out of control at the time. His grandparents took him in and tried to help him through these rough times. Try as they may Ackley still spiralled into a depression. He hardly did anything in the worst times of it. His friends and grandparents never gave up on him though and he slowly started to get better. After slowly starting to accept and deal with his parents' deaths another obstacle was in his way to recovery. When he was up and about again socializing and trying to live a life that fitted his age he started to feel like he was different. When his guy friends would talk about girls and sex he just kind of tuned out. He just couldn't imagine himself ever falling in love with a girl. At the time he thought that was because he was still recovering from his depression but when a new stallion entered the herd and he fell head over heels in love with him he knew something was horribly wrong. He tried to convince himself it was just a phase, that he was just confused. But this stallion had opened up a whole new side of him and Ackley found himself eyeing the guys when they were looking at the girls. When he couldn't deny it anymore that he was attracted to the same gender he decided to come out. Seeing as everybody had been there fore him when his parents died he thought they'd support him with this as well. He could not have been more wrong. His confession was met with shock, confusion, disgust and even anger. At the time he didn't feel comfortable in his own herd anymore and got scared to be honest about his sexuality believing that it was something dirty. When he couldn't handle the judgement anymore he left. Travelling did him well though. He made new friends gained a lot of knowledge about the world. In time even got over his depression. Nowadays he's pretty happy still his friendly and caring self. He does have some minor relapses but it doesn't get as bad as it used to be.
Personality: Gentle, kind of quiet at first, friendly, scared of judgement, very self conscious, open to new experiences, has a tendency to close up when met with confrontation, actually does love adventure and can be quite outgoing when he can be himself completely.
