Let me introduce you to the new and improved Shimi and Strike!
I was so unsure about redesigning Shimi. Way back in the day (2012) I got his design as a gift. I liked it at the time and I had no idea Shimi would turn into such an important character. But over time I started to like his design less and less and his character more and more. I gave his design a little update in 2014 which made me like him a little better. But still his design just wasn't me. But seeing how much art I've drawn of him with that design made me wary to make such a drastic change to his design. I wanted him to still be recognizable. When I was working on the next part of his story a few days ago I finally decided it was the time and got to designing. And I am so happy with the result To me he's still recognizable as Shimi with the dark head, darker forelock and tip of his tail, two toned legs and his scars. Getting rid of his spots was both a relief but also a gamble since those were pretty trade mark markings. But I'm glad I did it. I especially love his new colours and the two toned coat <3
Strike was easy to redesign since I didn't change that much and his design was already mine

I hope you guys will like the new design and seeing these two babies as chibis I haven't drawn them in so long But yes I am working on the next part of the story and I'll have to draw them new reference sheets as well so you'll be seeing them soon again! ;D
