Description Finally some art again
My god it's been almost 3 weeks.. And I can tell I had many a mini artblocks while working on this jerk :/
Most of the time I opened the file only to stare at it for a while and then continue to doing anything except for working on it xD But all is well it is finally finished!

I wasn't too happy about the shading, it's extremely sloppy cause I just wanted to get on with it. So I decided to make up by putting some extra work into the background. Which I think turned out pretty well, I'm really liking that tree and sky I'll be working on my backgrounds from now on putting in as much effort as I can cause I want to improve

And about the actual horse here, it's Bass Canon not sure if you've seen him, his design is in my scraps somewhere. He is the older brother of Chimayi who you have seen before. Bass Canon is a bit of a character. On the one hand he's snarky, arrogant and all in all not very pleasant to be around. On the other hand he isn't very capable as an Azzimato Guardian and that really gets to him. He also has a bit of an inferiority complex towards his sister although he'd never admit it. He doesn't have many friends and isn't like by a lot of horses. His sister on the other hand is adored by many even though she doesn't even care for it. That makes little Bass Canon very jealous.

So yep not a very nice character personality wise but oh do I love the way he looks

Sooo enjoy and hopefully expect me to upload something new again soon

I love Bass and his awesome coat I really do!
This is so bright and colourful and happy - background wise - but Bass looks like he wants to bite my head off or something xD I do love him so

Well, I speak for all of DA here when I say 3 weeks was worth the wait!
It's so beautiful! I love your choice of color for the background, in fact, I wish I could jump right in! It looks so beautiful there with Bass. That tree fits in so well, and I love how blue the sky is! And Oh! those clouds!
Not to mention that beautiful stud! His colors and design should make any other stallion jealous! How do you keep him safe from all the mares? It's probably like a JB fiasco! and, as always, your shading is FANOMONAL. I'm so jealous of your skills!

Wo ho ho! What do we have here? Art from Paardjee? So she lives!
Too bad about that art block dear, those things suck, but this came out really well dispite the fact. I really do like how easy you make it look to shade black horses.
And then to the horse himself: helooksawesome! I think I remember seeing him once when I was snooping browsing through your scrapbook. I am really glad to see him all pretty and shaded and with so much attitude. I just love his expression!
And the background looks great too! You are so right, that tree is just... wow. And your skys are always beautiful. I just love the way you put so much depth into them. The water looks really good too!
Can I just say, I am happy to be able to feast my eyes on some of your art again. I think I was going through withdrawal.

I have risen again! Yeah the artblocks were a bitch but now I'm all motivated to get back to drawing, I'm gonna get to sketching tonight
