Description Concentration for my AP portfolio. From a King Arthur myth. Apparently, as my friend told me, Gweniviere was going to be burnt at the stake because Arthur got majorly mad, sent her to be burnt, but then Lancelot saved her.

Meh, I only somewhat like this picture.

I like it, especially the colormood with teh blue/grey background and queen and the bright red flames ...

IIRC she was sentenced to burn for high treason agains the king ... and depending on the interpretation either Lancelot saves her, or lancelot let her burn and flees without her

Yes, high treason was the charge, since a woman's adultery was considered treason (petty treason) against her husband, who is considered her ruler.  Against your husband the the King?  Well, yes, that becomes HIGH treason!

Both forms of treason were punishable by burning at the stake.

Awww. Man, a parasite? Sounds nasty. Did it lead to stomach flu or something? Well, I hope to see you on Monday, then!

Aww wow, but I think it's amazing! *___* The toned-down blues and grays contrast so sharply with the fire, and the details and soft shading on her skin and dress are amazingly done~ awesome~♥
