Amazing idea! So when they break the ice, do they just pick up their prey with their mouths or do they scoop with the beak? Or do they have some other method to kill prey?

I actually had a little more info on it, they are supposed to hit the ice right under their prey, launching them into the air. When they hit the ground the are hurt and easy to catch. Also, they can fall in the sea.
