There is something about the mood or something that I really like. I can really imagine that she has had a "hard day at the office". All the dragon slaying has exhausted her to the extent that she simply fell asleep to a chair instead of crawling in to her bed.

Got some good visuals but unfortunately like most fantasy art of this genre, the question of common sense pops into the equation, in this case: why would she rest on the chair and not - say - a bed?
It's an inconsequential consideration but nonetheless, there.
The drawing is nicely detailed and most of the woman is in proportion aside from her evident big toe medical condition which seems to make it long and thin... for some reason?
Side boob is always welcome but one would have thought that fighting dragons would leave scars like burn marks and scratches, especially if your getting up close and personal with say, (looks at the image) a sword, which raises further questions such as; who in their right mind fights dragons with - a sword, especially one that is; large, clumsy and cumbersome.
...there could be an argument that it might not be hers or it is decoration but it's the only weapon on show, which would indicate that she is super strong. This business of a hero being naturally stronger than the rest subtracts from the feats of the hero, sure they defeated the big and mighty dragon but when they can hurl boulder sized weaponry around like flicking a toothpick the feat seems kind of banal when compared to the every man who happens to know how to outsmart a dragon consistently using the right tools for the job. To put this in perspective, whilst fire flowers and raccoon tails are useful for killing Goombas and getting to unreachable places in the fantasy world, what do they have to do with plumbing just like, how is a really big sword going to help you catch up to something that is often portrayed as being able to fly...
The composition is good but the lighting is too bright, not enough of the room is in darkness and that subtracts from, the dramatic "I've just been raped" pose she is in. That can be excused by the titles inclusion of the word 'rest' but resting in the foetal position isn't as bad ass as say, resting with your feet on the desk eating a pizza (Re: Devil May Cry), chewing on a fat Cigar whilst reading a porno in huge battle armour like something out of Gears of War or even clicking buttons on your stasis pod in preparation to wait to be called for action like in halo... but if I was going to be more appropriate to this particular genre, How do you think dragon hunter would rest? Curled up in the foetal position in a remarkably uncomfortable chair surrounded by armour and large swords with a dragon head thrown in... or laid on a couch with the head mounted on the wall in front of a fireplace. I know it is fantasy but there is no need for the character to be that disconnected that their ideal resting place is a throne adorned in anchors to their job, that's like saying a resting sewage worker should be painted sleeping on the toilet with, Fire flowers and Raccoon tails... I mean Plungers and Spanners.
For imagery I would rate this pretty highly, it has all the anchors to the job thrown in and the lighting is adequate but the common sense vote is not going to be as high.

Lool. Well i apreciate the time u took for such a constructive and long critic, dude. But i think u even mulled much more about the drawing than i did xD. Let me explain how i just did this. I didnt started the drawing thinking of a dragon hunter. I just draw a girl in a pose that i thought it was beautiful and had movement. The idea of a dragon hunter, warrior or any other kind of tipical fantasy warrior, came to my mind after the girl was almost done. Just because i thought just the naked girl was a bit insipid so i decided to add to the ilustration some more elements, one of them the head of a dead dragon wich inspired me the final tittle. Thats it xD. Not all my ilustration come to my mind in a context, sometimes they are just images, poses, colors, enviroments or whatever. The rest come after that. Like i said, just sometimes. And this is the case.
Of course a bed would be more comfortable, but i didnt wanted to paint her in a bed or in a diferent position. xD. So, sometimes if u go that way ur just limiting ur self at the time of painting. Of course this could be done with more "common sense" or coherence but it would be a total diferent drawing and i really loved the pose when i did it. Its all about sacrifying one thing to get another. Visual beauty or impact for common sense. Its called imagery or symbolism. So i guess its a matter of likes. Like u described it i would paint a random girl sleeping in a bed, and just that. But that image just dont tell me or sugest me nothing :/
Anyway, thnx a lot for leaving ur comments. I always apreciate when ppl make a good critic if its constructive. ;D
And sorry for the bad english ;o

Marx the "professional artist" Are you still this tedious and irrelevant to listen to, or did you change your behavior by now?
