I made this illustration for a women magazine was I work before, about safe sex versus "love", that kind of love that ~smart guys~ tell to your girlfriends to make sex without condom. Anyway, I think after, this is a good metaphore to keep in mind. Somethimes we mashup the concept of love with sex desire and shit all over. Hehehehe

In my opinion, true love begets sex. If you truly truly love someone, I believe the best choice is to get to know them in celibacy. It can take months and years of dating to determine if you want to be with them for the rest of your lives. In my mind, if she is the one, and you know that you know that you know, after months of celibate dating, then I believe the best idea is to propose to her, marry her, then discover her body in bed.
That's just my opinion though I have not found a lot of guys who are willing to do that. It's very hard to tell a woman who wants to have sex with you, "No! I have to get to know you, first!"
