Hm, I thought those crystals on Flandre's wings look kinda like decorative Xmas lights, figure they would look nice next to a big Xmas tree...~
Ahh well, I could've done more to the picture to make it more Christmas-themed, like editing Flandre to be more festive, adding lives on the streets etc... but I don't have much time for it, thanks to the fact I am being distracted by various other things recently, explaining the lack of pictures...
Well, hope you all have a nice happy holiday anyway!~ I'd probably make another picture about the new year~

I can't tell you why Flan's so cute beyond, "JUST LOOK AT HER!", for the rest is in her behavior, which is vague even in canon. However, I can tell you why she's my favorite. She's a badass (her battle proves that). She's adorable. She has a tragic backstory (staying in a basement of your own free will is not healthy for your psyche. Even worse than if you are locked there). I like the Scarlet Devil Mansion crew as a whole, though I like Mokou more than Meiling and Koakuma. Flan and Remi prove that you don't have to be like Alucard or Dracula to be a vampire done WELL. The biggest reason I love Flan is that, frankly, you just want to hug the poor girl because of what she's been through...

I think a lot of us thought she was wearing christmas tree lights at first. (I've actually seen a picture of her being tied to a christmas tree by her wings to be used as the decorations; she was not too happy)
