Wow!
Just found your site, through the linky thing.
*waves*
DO you by chance buy NQ magazines? There's a 'mini-adventure' in the latest one featuring 'Sludge Brutes'. This pic is such as an inspiration for an illustration to acompany that!
Bravo!

Thanks! And I've just been getting into Warmachine/Iron Kingdoms, so I haven't really read much of NQ yet.

So far every issue, well sorta, has been total bounce per ounce.
With some of your stuff adding to the ;visual' side of things the adventure should become rocking!
Though the company is obviously starting to focus more on the miniatures that it controls, now that D&D has decided to lay 3.5 to rest.
*stops self before rant explodes*
Cheers!

So do you just think 3.5 was a good system which deserved a few more years of use, or are you peeved at how Paizo has been treated?

Oh, politics.
Um, I didn't see the need for 3.5 since 3rd seemed to be working pretty well. The biggest problem I've had is getting my head around 'templates' I think some aspects of the whole 'balancing' thing are a bit on the harsh side. needles to say my Fey-ri, 1/2Dragon, 1/2 celestial, 1/2 Troll, Um I forget the other half's, was such a Munchk it wasn't funny. Did good justice to Fred Perry's Xane though. "Lets full tilt boogie for JUSTICE!"
X-D
Sorry, I could see poor old Paizo wearing the short end of the stick long time coming. When the parent company would rather self flagulaite a new product line than actually support the fan base, *shrug* writing's on the wall. I think they did well considering the restraints and restrictions, hoops and things they must have been forced to jump through.
So far No Quarter magazine by PP has provided good bounce per ounce (tm) Though lately, what with the news about 4 Ed the role playing side's a little 'thin on the pages'. Again *shrug*
Will I keep using 3 and 3.5 ? Yup.
Will I have a look at 4th? yup. The current mew 'Star Wars Saga' is meant to be a 'Test Run' of the 4th Ed rules, as far as I'm aware. Things haven't changed enough to make a difference as far as I'm concerned.
Have I made a bonfire out of all the other Role Playing systems I own? Nope.
Heck, between my mates and I, we've got home grown game systems that are just as much fun as 'oficial' material. Our home grown 'Star Trek' rules system was pretty good for what we wanted to do.
Do I have an 'Evil Conspiracy Theory' about why the folks at Wizard/Hasbro/TSR are going to 4th Ed? Yup. But that's for another rant for better lack of sleep and more X-massy booze!
Cheers!

I actually really liked a lot of the changes with 3.5. The template thing - yeah, gets silly, but it is kind of a useful GMing widget.
What really irks me about 4.0 is that whenever I hear anything about it, it sounds like it's gonna be a pretty good game... so I seriously wish WotC would *stop* telling me how great 4.0 is and how much I'm gonna love it, and tell me *more* about all the cool stuff I'll be able to actually do in a 4.0 game!
The thing about D&D that really gets me is its age means that, when you look at it, 1st edition, 3e, and from what I can tell 4e, are only vaguely similar games. Which is great and all - I mean, they're good games, right? I love games - but the reason for calling them the same thing is almost artificial.
And of course, the embarassing thing is that now I'm getting stoked about "Dark Heresy." About the last thing I need to spend money on is another RPG nobody will play (ask me about Ars Magica sometime) but... err... expect to see Inquisitorial fanboy art soon.

[link] should be Dark Heresy stuff.
I dunno, I like kobolds to some extent. A lot of what I like about RPGs in general, is exploration and mystery. Oh, and cool monsters. Games should have cool monsters.
In Nominae? Seen it, but no. Lace and Steel? Naw, no idea what that is. The FASA Star Trek? Nope, seen it, never played it. Albedo? Would you believe that I've not only *played* the thing, but *run* it? I haven't played the new version from Sanguine, and kinda screwed up my chance to do pictures for the thing.
