His outfit looks a lot more travel-ready than those of most stereotypical wizards...

Very nice WizardTM! I'm always amazed when someone portrays a classic visual meme in a way that still feels alive and enjoyable. And look, you did!
...not that this surprises me. I love your artwork :3

The B/W version was for jstater - check out some of the stuff he's doing - and he specified doing a really traditional wizard for the design.

I love that song! I only discovered Sabbath's first album this last year, would'ya believe? And it's a great album.

Better late than never!
It's not quite as iconic as Paranoid has become, but it's indeed great.

Is that Eagles song that was used as the opener to the BBC version of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?"

Yeah - I'd heard the little 30 second or so snippet in the Hitchhiker's Guide credits, but never heard the full thing, which is close on 7 minutes of instrumentals only, no lyrics. I actually think I like it a lot more than any of their other tracks.

It's definitely different just about everything else they ever did. One of the benefits of a band having a sort of revolving door membership is that you get a lot of diversity in their body of work. With The Eagles having settled down to basically four guys, their music has settled into something of a pattern, especially with Henley and Frey doing the lion's share of the writing (I'm a big fan).

I don't really know their stuff that well outside of the obvious songs that get played on the radio over and over and over and over. Would you have any recommendations for Eagles songs to check out?

Go buy Eagles Greatest Hits 1971-1975 and Eagles Greatest Hits Vol. 2 or the more recent The Eagles: The Very Best Of. Those should contain everything you'll ever need to be a casual fan (note that "Journey of the Sorcerer" is not on any of those). If you want to get into the deeper cuts, I recommend "One Of These Nights," "Desperado," and "Hotel California." Those are definitely their three best albums (I consider Hotel California to be one of the greatest rock albums ever recorded, worthy of mention next to Boston's Boston, Fleetwood Mac's Rumours>, Rush's Moving Pictures, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon and Led Zeppelin IV). "Journey of he Sorcerer" is on One of the These Nights.
