Höllun(leader)級嚮導駆逐艦

リーデンランド海軍[RN]の嚮導駆逐艦。
世界戦争以前から計画されていた大型嚮導艦計画により設計がすすめられた艦で、大きな船体に12.7cm単装砲を階段状に前後各3基搭載する。当初の計画では水雷装備も搭載予定だったが対空火力にもなるとして砲兵装重視の装備になった。設計上砲塔の高さが高く、それを階段状に搭載しているため結果的に上部構造物がかなり高くなっている。高速巡航時における転覆防止として船体はそれなりに幅を広くされているがそれでも波の高い日や悪天候時は結構振られるらしい。世界戦争時は通商護衛作戦に従事しマレント王国海軍の護衛空母と協同して航路の安全を確保した。艦名は地方都市の名前。

A lead destroyer of the Readenland Navy [RN].
She was designed in accordance with the large lead destroyer project that had been planned since before the World War II. The original plan called for the ship to be equipped with mines as well, but the emphasis was placed on gun armament as it would also provide anti-aircraft firepower. The turret is high by design, and because it is mounted in a staircase configuration, the superstructure is considerably taller as a result. The hull was widened to prevent the ship from capsizing when cruising at high speed, but even so, it is said to be shaken considerably on days with high waves or in bad weather. During the World War, she was engaged in trade escort operations and worked with the escort carrier of the Royal Marent Navy to ensure the safety of shipping routes. The ship is named after a local city.
