This is a really cool helmet. I would imagine that an underwater race in a fantasy/sci-fi setting would use this in battle. the integration of sea elements gives a great depiction of the races culture. Looking at the features in the jawline and the pieces in the back the person appears to be female although in fantasy/sci-fi anything is really possible. Keep up the good work. I think your shading technique is also really good. I have trouble with shading myself so this helps.

Oh that's very nice
It looks a little bit long perhaps, but then again there is probably a lot of space from the visor to the face in this type of helmet.
Anyway really like the colors, the brown sort of rusty parts.

This helmet would become a part of a book illustration, so the composition is a little strange
