Description
So after much prodding and courting, Cloth-King finally got me to really take a look at his Silkies and their wonderful world of ragdolls and sock-people. And I sat down and planned out my lovely silk-sona, the persona of mine that lives in the lovely silk kingdom of happy dolls and people made of living stockings and cloth.

The Silkie now known as "Buttons" was once a very sad and lonely girl, who lived alone in a small flat apartment in New England. She was very quiet and had no friends, her only companions were the many dolls she kept in her house, and lovingly talked to every day. One cold and especially lonely day, she was visited by the magical Cloth King who rules the kingdom of silkies in a magical land and offered a chance at a new life, in a world filled with dolls and people who would love her and where she could become a doll herself. After getting over the shock of finding a strange magical man made out of stockings and cloth in her bedroom, she gladly accepted his offer and she became a living doll and all of her dolls came to life as her children, and she now lives happily in the land of silkies.

She now lives in the magical kingdom of the silkies, in the forest of forgotten clothes, with her family of dolls come to life. They pick up the tattered and torn clothing, and toss them in the big pits that allow the cloth and thread to be returned to the ecosystem and recycled by the magic of the land. She is a bit eccentric even for a silkie, her body still moves somewhat jerkily like a puppet on strings, and stuffed inside her are many bugs and rats that sometimes skitter out and about. She is too shy to live in the city proper, and enjoys the peace and quiet of her home in the forest, but she visits the city often where she loves to play with the schoolchildren and her doll children.
