o my god i cant even say how much i love this gown. i found the original picture of it in a fashion book i was reading and was instantly in love. so i drew it. once again i hate my scanner it fuzzed up the bottom but o wellreal dress C (with circle) Cristobal Balenciaga. MY IDOL *even if he's dead he's still a masta*

oh baby, this is an excellent drawing!! those folds and tones must have been a bastard to draw, but you did an excellent job on it! i knew from just the thumbnail that it was a balenciaga dress.....he is my idol too! i adore him sooo much!

wheeeee!! thank you so much! I'm actualyl writing a thesis on balenciaga, i really should start it properly soon.....^.^; but i get all my info from the art college library, and he does seem to be rather elusive on the internet, a lot of the stuff i find is fashion collections from today under his name....but ill be going into the library tomorrow, so i will send you the names of a few books and piccies and stuff!!

This might be old hat now.. but the dress is perfect, the shading, the light work.. i know you got it off a picture but it is a very good reading of light... that is sometimes harder to do than pick up a running cow with your bare hands... i mean i can get it with my own hands... but with yours.. it might prove to be more difficult.. cause i dont have your hands... but if i did i would congratulate them.
