Ah, good old heroin. Only one of the most addicting substances in the world. Parents of one of my characters have that monkey, too.

Some one once said nicotine is far more addictive than heroin. Yeah, right. People don't systematically murder each other over a smoke. Sorry, but heroin is much worse for addiction. Also most people who quit smoking usually don't turn back unless they have an addictive nature. I think the closest addiction would be opiates or alcoholism. Don't know if you were ever friends with Jaxson (gad I hated how he spelled his name) but he succumbed to the heroin monkey.

The saddest thing is I used to argue with him that you didn't need drugs to create art, and he insisted it was vital. He quoted some old hippie who apparently died of an overdose, and whatnot. It was spaghetti reasoning on his part. He was too smart for it, and he should have known better. I have no clue whatever became of him.
