Eh…short story is crappy short story. Sorry guys. King just decided he wasn’t going to give me any details other than “She needs to bow…off you go write my story”. Remind me why I have a brat for a character? *sighs* Anyway this is my breeding pic between King and *kat8674 ’s beautiful Midnight Stargazer. DKS wasn’t planning any more breedings but…I had an idea for a horse (Merlin my new addiction is to blame!) and so I was talking to Kat on the phone with my idea to make a new horse and she goes ‘Just breed one’ so…here I am stealing her mare for my King. Teehee

When the gate opened King let out a aggregated snort. This wasn’t his normal field and he knew it. His grey eyes looked around piercing into any man who looked upon him. Should have been a gold crown upon his head. But Rick rolled his eyes as he basically pushed the royal prat into his pasture and shut the gate to leave an angry squeal to be his only answer.

King paced back and forth, back and forth. For probably ten minutes till his ears perked and nostrils flared. Was that a mare he smelled. The red chestnut raised his head high. Raising his noble ears like a banner. He watched the black mare slowly walked towards his gate, the other stallions in the field watching her. When the gate opened King let out a angry squeal towards the other stallions. A king needed his privacy.

When she trotted towards him, a happy little smile on her face. King snorted and rolled his grey eyes. It pained him sometimes to be the king. Pretty fillies threw themselves at him, or so he thought. Till the little mare walked right past him and towards the tree just behind him to relax behind.

He twirled on his heel and stared at her as she rolled in the grass, humming her own little tune. He snorted and walked over to her. He wouldn’t dare bow his head to smell her. No he just stood over her watching. She finally stopped mid roll and looked up at him, and gave a happy little call for him to join her. To which he threw his head to the side and snorted. Kings didn’t play. She rolled her eyes and continued to roll, figuring it was his loss.

After a while she got up and shook off, so King nudged her and gave a squeal. ‘now bow’ it said. The mare gave him a funny little look before shaking her own head and trotting off. King’s weren’t supposed to beg for respect but he signed and followed after her, such a young filly probably didn’t know better. So after ten minutes of him chasing her and demanding a bow, she finally did, rolling her eyes the whole time.

After the bow he was as happy as a little clam. And would follow her or did whatever she asked. Till evening fell…then she was all his.
