Haha reminds me of how my wife threatens to throw Tali out the airlock when she sees her giving Garrus the eyes. She loves Tali tho, so she'd tie a rope around her ankles at least while she dangles behind the ship. =3= Pull her back when she learns her lesson lol.

Being serious, I can understand your feeling, but in reverse (consider infact that I have always romanced our Quarian engineer). I remember, during my first playtrough, to have found some of Garrus' chatter with Tali rather irksome and I admit that, at one point, I even feel a little pang of jealousy.
Then, Thessia happened.
And in that moment, I saw how stupid and blind I had been to even have such thoughts. Seeing both Garrus and Tali come to support you in one of your darkest hours, the first as one of your most trusted friend and the latter as the soulmate that will always be at the side of the only man she loves, makes you truly realize that, may Shepard be male or female and love one or the other, they are the Commander's tue companions, his/her most close and loyal friends, and none of them will ever let, under any circumstance, any potential (and at that point, unrequested) feelings for the romanced other to be in the way of the couple's true happiness.
About this particular episode...well, I'm prone to call the writers out for a slip of questionable humour and to not think much more of it. At the end of the day, it is in your hands to hook them in a relationship with the true love of their lives (femshep or maleshep) and, if you care for one of them, then Garrus will never know the plans set up in the intimacy of the "Tali-Shepard lovenest" by the Captain and the Engineer he is loved by, and Tali will never be the "old ball and chain" who is able to "make a man a nervous wreck and then give him the right aim to make sure she is safe".
Still, I wonder if she gets drunk (or acts drunk) in order to hide the fact she has accepted a omni-tatoo from Jack without ask about its EXACT nature first...
And finally, if this subject still bothers you, I urge you to consider this: isn't it just a little strange that, during her rambling, she warms up to the idea only after she imagines FEMSHEP joining in?
Considering there was a scrapped homosexual romance path for Tali in ME2...
