Color or Black and White, can be a dilemma if the background is restless or has colors that draw attention away from the main subject.

In this case the color of the cushions and the fact that it's too close to the cat's head made me decide to upload this photo in color as well as black and white.

Please let me hear your reaction, what you think ?!

This photo was taken with the TTartisan F1.2 50mm on F1.2. Perhaps not the sharpest lens wide open, but the contrast and bokeh are of a high level, separating the main subject from the background nicely.

Reminds a lot of the Leitz F1.2 50 mm Noctilux from 1966, plastic (3D) rendering due to the beautiful and slow progression from sharpness to blur (bokeh), with the exception of the sharpness at full aperture.

Despite the fact that Leica currently has a clinically perfect F0.95 50mm on the market, they have nevertheless decided to reissue the 1966 model.

"The new Noctilux-M 50 f / 1.2 ASPH marks the revival of the world's first lens with aspherical elements. It allows to create timeless portraits with a wonderful bokeh and soft skin tones."

The F1,2 Noctilux is about 4000, - cheaper then the F0.95, but still it has a price tag of 7000, -, while this Chinese TTartisan F1.2 50mm derivative used for the photo will set you back only 98, -.

At this price difference i can live with the lens being slightly less sharp at full opening.
