This is one of 50..yes 50... toads that Kevin rescued from a badly damaged storm drain yesterday. He/she is bigger then the rest and, as you can see from the pic, very well fed! It probably got into the drain to fed on it's younger and much smaller kin. Nasty I know but that is nature. At least he no longer has to worry about being stuck in that nasty and smelly drain!
