So do you work with him a lot yourself?

I tend to find comfort and protection with him, to me, his symbolism of protection, fertility and life are what soothes me

Mmmm, yes. To me, his symbolism of wealth and strength. He feels very much so like a father figure to me, which is something I've never had the strongest of. I love my father, but we've never been super close like most sons and fathers are. Cernunnos, in a strange way, fills that gap for me. So, yes, comfort and protection. And guidance. When you view him, do you view him more traditionally as simply a man with antlers and some deer-like features, or do you view him more bestially as an anthropomorphic deer-like God (a general representation of him that I've noticed has been gaining more and more popularity)? I tend to view him as the latter when I visualize him during prayer, meditation, and ritual & spell work.
