More accurately, the Seer and Warden's megaplex monitoring system posting.

I have some things done and half done in the wings, but I want to buy myself time to finish them up good and proper, so time to blab about what M.X.E.S in the Renegade AU.

M.X.E.S wasn't always M.X.E.S.

It was originally a system called J.A.C.X; a monitoring system placed down by Ness, aka 'Warden', and Gregory, aka 'Seer' during the Raid in order to monitor Faz Ent activity in the building and deliver warnings to people that there was nothing of value here and that it was a place of danger.

A few days after Jacx was set up at the Raid, Ness was kidnapped by Faz Ent, and and eighteen hours after Ness escaped the megaplex with Gregory (Gregory and Sylvia wound up getting kidnapped trying to save Ness, and Sylvia stayed behind whilst her sister and Gregory escaped in order to finish her demolition work and "sort some things out"), William found out about J.A.C.X and trappped him in a system that William called the M.X.E.S system. Getting trapped in this system practically tore him to shreds.

Scared, in pain, and struggling to recall much, Jacx then took Mxes as his name.

He didn't have much of a choice.

He had a job to do: contain that mad endo that William told him to contain.

When Cassie arrived at the megaplex, he could tell that she was just a kid and was trying to save her friend. He tried to speak to her, to tell her that he'd already seen Gregory escape several hours ago, but he found that his voice had also been taken by William.

He could no longer relay his warning, and his mere presence attracted the animatronics.

He wanted to guide her out of the building, but that thing that he was charged with containing cut him off from being able to help Cassie when it mattered the most.
