What else but a body of water to cheer up a water villager! Leke strips off her heavy wrappings to soak in the glacier feed waters of the wide river. Leke eggs Vahati to come swim with her, but ice villagers are built different than water villagers. If a ice villager spends too long in the waters of their home town, they often get carried away by the current, or more embarrassing, have to get help to chip away the ice that quickly builds up on their soaked bodies. When that happens, it can take hours to get them freed up from the ice, depending how much of their body, and how long they have been in the water.
Vahti dips his toes in, carefully getting into the water, to humor her before they have to fallow the river to their next marker in their quest.
