Description

Labored breathing, racing heartbeat; run run run. The frosty air follows her, the fear boiling inside as the falls continue to roar in her ears and the pounding of footsteps behind her. Which way is the water? Before she can think about it again, she crashes through the bushes and into the river that was the source of the noise before. Panic overtakes her as she struggles to leap away, but it's already too late. The ice forms around her feet and crawls up her legs. Her skin turns translucent as she, herself turns to ice. Her fear has powered her ability and she can no longer control it. She can feel her nose frosting and her eyesight leaving her as her heart struggles to continue to beat. Her last thoughts are only those of defeat as her powers turn against her and the last bit of life is frozen out of her, leaving nothing but a frozen ice sculpture atop the now-frozen river.
this is a remake of ice sculpture , which is still the most popular piece in my gallery ^^
I had thought about remaking it for a while, and finally had the motivation to do so. I actually googled images of ice sculptures this time, to try and get the more 'frozen' effect in there. I left some parts more solid and life-like as she is turning to ice from the ground up.
I used so many stock images for the background, ohmygosh. But I do enjoy background blending a lot, so it wasn't too bad. (:
I also really like the way the mane came out <3
I worked on this a little today, but mostly yesterday and the day before. So happy my muse is working with me! >;D
