youre great with colored pencils! the realism is amazing. good medium indeed, but i do find them very time consuming

Ja zoals je zegt, vergt het heel veel tijd en geduld. Daarom dat ik nu meestal met aquarel werk. Dit is al een oud werk. Van 1999, 10 jaar geleden al, tjonge, ik word oud.Dit duurde een 30 tal uren.Het werk zelf is ongeveer 70 cm X 50cm.

wow dat is echt heel groot! groter dan A3 he? kan me bijna niet voorstellen hoe lang dat heeft geduurd. geduld moet je er zeker voor hebben het lijkt me wel een goede oefening.
haha ik ben ook van potloden naar aquarel gestapt

Ik dacht dat de maat ongeveer 65 cm X 65 cm was. En zo heb ik er in dat jaar 4 gemaakt. Toen heb ik vele nachtelijke uurtjes getekend. En hoe wass voor jou de overstap?

Ja deze tekening heb ik niet meer. De andere 2, Lyzardman en Lionman wel nog.

Three things you can do.Practicing and practicing and more practicing.
And with colorpencils you have to start with the lightest colors and build it up layer after layer and go darker and darker.I always worked on Steinbach 250 grams. The watercolorpencils I use are Caran d' aches soft II. These are the best for me, not to hard and not to soft but it is very personal. You have to try it out.Good luck, you're still young, you like to draw so you're have way. So I say: " start practicing".
