Description so I have been playing aroung in Photoshop CS - it's something new to me. This is a manipulation of my ink drawing 'Entheogen'...it's pretty much the same drawing, I didn't adjust any of the levels at all...I'm not really sure if it belongs in Traditional Art category...the description is pretty unclear on the submission page...so here she lies for now.

I would greatly appreciate advice from those of you out there who really know what you're doing with Phostoshop CS2...like I said, I really don't, I'm just experimenting. here is the original piece: [link]

I have the type of personality that once I start into something...I go without food or sleep until I finish it. It's not really very heallthy but it's a good formula for art and music

Anyways, good stuff, however similar it is to other psychedelic pieces.

two things... I would love a scathing critique, and I would also love to know how to load a more medium sized view...how do I do that? I'm much more adept at climbing frozen waterfalls and navagating deserts than these computer thingies...seriously, I'm half retarded like that.

I just wanna say I love this piece... Love it! All of your work here is incredible, in fact... The amount detail is just mindboggling!! The line quality is wonderful.... So deliciously fluid!! I don't wanna sound like some kinda freak (and maybe it's just girlie hormones speaking) but the level of workmanship here almost got me all like misty-eyed 'n stuff...!! My work is so pared down these days, it makes me miss being able to actually take time with a piece... Le sigh.

Wow, insanity at a totally new level!
The sheer amount of work merits applause. I think the addition of the slightly translucent background adds to it, though I appreciate both versions.

Wow. After seeing this I had to see the original. I like that one better, but all the same. your pen work is absolutely amazing. deffinitely one of the best I have seen on DA. Your gallery is incredible

looks pretty awesome to me! i think maybe it might be a little jumbled with the background showing through the origional drawing.. i would suggest when you erase the BG that is underenth the origional sketch part.
