Thank You. I'm always surprised by how many people love this piece... considering everything on the inside is basically glued together, which is a big 'no no' in the jewelry world.

Yeah, but steampunk is all about DIY ideals. Whatever works. Though if you ever do have to do a similar project, here's an interesting idea. Take thin wire and connect them to the gears in any way (though you could make them look like levers or pulleys). Then drill a hole in metal surface (make sure it's the wire's width). You can then make the wire ends hold as rivets, or knots, or spiral them off into designs to hold it in place. Just a thought.
