And here’s how I imagined what Megatron’s parents would look like. I based Megatron’s father on Megatron’s movie counterpart and I designed the mother myself. Megatron’s father, Deathbringer later renamed, Indominus, was a barbarian and a former second-in-command of The Fallen until he had been enslaved and forced to work as a miner to pay for his crimes as a Decepticon. He met another miner, a femme bot named, Lunar Eclipse (my OC), before the two made love and gave birth to a son. Raising their son while being slaves at the mines was hard and what happened next was that Megatron got taken away from his parents before he was forced to work as a miner named, D-16. The poor sparkling had to learn to fight for himself and he got his scars from when he was being whipped by slave masters and when he got into fights with those who taunted him. Eventually, D-16 became stronger before he became a gladiator at Kaon and everyone at the arena cheered for him while making money off of him. Eventually, D-16 decided to name himself after one of the Thirteen Original Primes, Megatronus. As for the parents, they escaped from the slave mines to search for their son, but they were unable to reunite with their precious sparkling. Megazarak and Lunar Eclipse were cast out into space for their crimes of murdering their slave masters, however banishment could not keep them away forever as they vowed to one day reunite with their son. During their exile, they made a message for Megatron in case he ever finds it so that he will know that his parents love him no matter what and that they will never stop until they’re together again.
