it's more of a disorderβ it's not something you can "treat". you can treat things like anxiety, executive function problems, etc that come with it, but it's not something that needs a cure.
i didn't ask to be autistic, and it took time to learn to accept myself, but now i'm proud of it! it's not autism that's the problem, it's that the world often doesn't want to accommodate for us and is often ignorant of our needs. when people are willing to communicate with us and understand our needs, we act a lot more "normal".

nah man like medically, it isn't an illness and cant be cured. plus seeing a huge part of your brain (so big in fact that if it were to get "cured" you would be a completely different person) as a bad thing or a curse is unhealthy and could lead to self loathing.
autism isn't a bad thing and it shouldn't be viewed as a curse when it's just something some people have.

but,still.i wouldn't like it if someone would have it in my family....well,my step father's family is big- & there is that women....she has autism....i have no problem with her,but we need to be focused on how to treat her right.that's a bit confusing to me....and you cant force me to like it in any way.ik u didn't want to force me,but dont even try.it was just an opinion.and well,it is an "illness" in a way.some people are look weird to others....i mean,my brother had an autist boy in his class....he was weird....ik it wasnt his fault,but hey,from this way,it is an "illness".others think you're weird....lmao i dont have any problem with autist people tbh
