Yes, I did base this drawing off of the song “Dance of the trees” by Mikayla Geiger, which is now my favorite song right now

I also am currently obsessed with lights and odd colors so ye, please don’t mind all the glowy stuff, this is also a drawing of Brutus when he was younger

(Brutus’s backstory might be triggering for some, just a warning!)

Brutus and Salem when younger were in a relationship during the burning war in the Avian realm. Brutus lost his mother during the burning war due the birth of his younger sister, Echo. When Brutus’s mother died, he made a deal with a shadow Avian. A deal where his mother would come back to life but he would be basically used as a vessel for the shadow avian and pretty much lost his mind and went on a killing spree throughout the avian realm. At one point Brutus and Salem got in an argument about the killing spree, but Salem didn’t know about the deal between Brutus and the Shadow Avian and just though Brutus was a complete monster and serial killer. But Brutus was pretty much possessed by the Shadow Avian and attacked Salem almost killing him, though Salem used his knife to slice Brutus’s throat hopefully to save himself. Salem thought he killed Brutus and fell into a deep depression especially since he thought he killed someone he loved very much. But, the shadow avian that possessed Brutus kinda saved his life. Brutus is still technically under the Shadow Avians influence, but at a very low degree where he is able to control himself. So ye, that’s pretty much Brutus’s back story
