Description

I'm so excited to share the world map for the group Nalu-Valley !! This is the land where Nalus live and most often frequent, though much awaits beyond the horizon too!
All the stars dotting the map are locations that will be discovered during game play, as new places are explored the stars will become the names of the places on the map! The treasure chests mark special items that will be discovered too, theres a lot to explore!

below are some general descriptions for the largest mainland zones in this map!

Nalu Valley

The valley of this mountainous region is where Nalus call home! This grassland valley homes many roaming animals as well, with Nalus making their colonies near the border; close to the jungle that surrounds them. The valley has readily available water supplies between being close to the river, lakes and daily rainfall, making irrigation and farming very easy. The grasslands keep Nalus protected in comparison to the large and dangerous creatures that stock the jungle, that isn't to say the Valley isn't without its dangers as well though. Nalus keep a vigilant watch on the predators of the grassland, and their neighboring colonies.

Kongouri Jungle

The Konguri jungle surrounds the grassland valley that Nalus call home. The jungle is dense and experiences regular rainfall with an afternoon rain shower occurring every day. The jungle has a tiered vertical structure: there is a ground layer, shrub layer, understory, canopy and overstory, all of which is teeming with unique and fantastic life. Nalus typically explore and forage in the lower levels of the jungles, however a few brave souls will enter the canopy every now and then. Being small in a big, vast world is dangerous- many of the jungles inhabitants pose a huge (literally!) threat to a Nalu caught off guard. This does not stop their inherent curiosity though, as much of their lifestyle revolves around the jungle.

Despite the generations of exploration, the jungle still houses many mysteries and unique spots. Whether it be caves filled with riches and ruins from long lost civilizations to crystal coves on cliffsides, much of the land still remains uncharted and waiting to be discovered.

Deep Kongouri Jungle

The depths of Kongouri jungle are so dense that virtually no sunlight touches the ground, making the world below the trees a dazzling and dangerous array of bio-luminescent spectacle. This unique biome is eat-or-be-eaten, with some of the largest and most deadly creatures in the whole jungle. The difficulty seeing makes it an incredibly hard area to explore, but where there is risk there is great reward...

Guimei river

The Guimei river cuts through the land near Nalu valley, closest to the Senbu colony. This freshwater river features slow-winding water in some parts but fast rapids in others, it is not an easy river to sail and most only sail in the lower portion near the sea. Many animals can be found along the riverbanks and inside the river, with fast moving waters being excellent for many species of schooling fish, while the slow waters allow more amphibious creatures to grow quite large. Nalus often fish in the river and irrigate it into the valley to provide fresh water for the colonies!

Garama Shoreline

This sandy shoreline is where land meets Garama sea. Many tropical creatures are found along this patch of earth, with a huge population of shelled creatures and birdlike animals. There are many beautiful and ornate shells hidden in the sand, and the crystal clear waters are a perfect place to take a dip or go snorkeling to look at the aquatic life! Occasionally unusual things wash up from the sea- sometimes its stuff of value but most of the time its junk.

Garama Sea

The Garama sea is a warm watered, tropical sea that is downright hot in some locations near the volcanic hotspots that speckle the land! An interesting array of sea life can be found at practically every spot in the ocean, the shallow warm waters near the shore are crystal clear with many coral reefs protecting beautiful aquatic life, and farther out there are many incredibly large and sometimes fearsome creatures. Nalus often comb the sandy beaches for shells and unique finds that tend to wash up, but fishing and sailing are deeply ingrained in Nalu culture and many are quite competitive about catching the largest fish or sailing the fastest!

 Bimasi Desert

The Bimasi desert lies to the northwest of the Kongouri jungle and features red sands. There are a few oasis's to be found by lucky travelers who can navigate the tough and sandstorm strewn terrain. Further west in the desert the sands turn to volcanic rock as the area meets one of the region's volcanic hot spots. This molten area is dangerous to traverse but due to the volcanic activity and the pressures in molten caves and the surrounding climate, there are some jewels and minerals that can only be found at this location. This area is also known for its hot springs- be careful though, some will boil you instantaneously!
