Description
I gave an oil pastel drawing class in a summer art camp, and did some drawing myself. The composition was inspired by an old felt hat I found in my attic. It reminded me of a song performed by Jaak Joala [link] , with Estonian lyrics translating something like this:
Your pearls dim in their casket,
A lone summer shoe in the corner,
A felt hat gone out of fashion
Hasn't seen you here for a long time.
The original song is Homburg by Procol Harum.
