Yeah im kinda still obsessed with Blasphemous (specially with the incoming DLC). And also i decided to do a fan art of other game i wanna play so badly, so this is the result, better than i expected but i gotta keep working on my backgrounds, i hope you guys like it.

Well according to the game (an animated movie too) After defeat the devil, Dante goes to the Purgatorium and the Penitent one has a sorta ending (not gonna say anything if you're thinking playing the game) but probably will change cause there's a inminent DLC on this year

Great drawing! I've watched a bit of youtube on the game but I might have to try it out at some point

Basically Spanish vs Italian versions of catholicism here.
Especially both of them are similar as in their helmets have thorns on them and they're paying penance in their own way.
Although the only difference is that the Penitent One is cold and silent while Dante in the other hand as far I can tell in the game is red hot full of rage and wrath despite being one of the deadly sins as well although he's more of a Kratos like expy as the "Dante's Inferno" game tried to be a Christian version of God of War pretty much.
Looks like Dante would defiantly fit in the world of Blasphemous....
