Fun Facts:

The Entomophaganax is a member of the therizinosaur family, but one that had adapted to a diet consisting almost entirely of insects, and occasionally scavenged on carrion whenever the opportunity was presented. They fed on a wide variety from active hives to the giant insects themselves. It developed a thick hide of scales to protect itself from the bites and stings of its prey. It sported a pair of long claws to dig into termite mounds and tree trunks to expose the rich content inside, along with a long sticky tongue that it used to lick up prey.

Entomophaganax live solitary lives, coming together only for mating or when fighting for territory. They can be highly protective of a single insect hive/colony and can feed upon the same one for the rest of its life. Since Entomophaganax are not picky eaters, they can also switch between different species if available to them. No insect, small or giant, larva or adult, were off the Entomophaganax's menu. Switching to an insectivorous diet also means that Entomophaganax kept their numbers in check, preventing the giant bugs from infesting the jungles.

While the Entomophaganax did not compete for the same food as its meat-eating theropods, it was no less aggressive. They usually preferred to use their long giant claws to intimidate their antagonist until they backed down, but when physical confrontation was inevitable they fought like heck.
