Description
Having been at war with each other since the Cambrian Explosion, it was Tiktaalik, representative of the vertebrates, who was one of the first to eventually take foot above the devonian depths and onto it's sandy shores above. With the abundance of oxygen-rich air and being surrounded by all sorts of lush greenery it practically seemed like a paradise for them. That was until the arthropods, led by Pterygotus and Brontoscorpio, soon followed after and claimed everything for themselves. The amphibious species didn't stand a chance against their armored adversaries and were therefore exiled back into the water where they had to stay in the enemy's shadow for presumably quite some time. Little did the invertebrate empire know that their reign over the surface would be rather short-lived after a scaly third party appeared on the scene during the Carboniferous. THE FIGHT RAGES ON!!!
