Description Name: Yi qi (From Mandarin  yì 翼; Wing and qí 奇; Strange, Strange Wing or Bizarre Wing.)

Classification: Theropoda, Scansoriopterygidae.

Location: China, Formation Tiaojishan.

Temporal range:  End of the Middle Jurassic and beginning of Late Jurassic, 163,5-157,3 Million Years Ago.

Ocupation: Insectivorous-Onivorous predator. 

Description: Yi qi was an small, 380 grams, and strange theropod. He was part of the group Paraves, this mean that it was relative to modern birds, but contrary to his close relatives, he dont have an normal feathered wing, instead, he plane, and maybe fly, with an bat-like wing. Yes, and bat-like dinosaur with feathers. Paleontology can be strange at times...
