Description: One of the most common animals found in the Hell Creek Formation of Colorado. The Triceratops has one of the largest skulls of any land animals at 6 feet or 2 meters long due to the large frill and horns on the front of its head. It lived alongside many other famous dinosaurs including Tyrannosaurus, Ankylosaurus and Pachycephalosaurus. One of the last non-avain dinosaurs, recent studies have shown that Triceratops could have been the last non-avain dinosaurs!
