Meaning of name: Breast tooth lizard.
Species: Batrachosaurus, Labyrinthodon, M. acuminatus, M. conicus, M. maximus, M. tantus, Salamandroides. 
Classification: Amphibia, Temnospondyli, Stereospondyli, Capitosauria, Mastodonsauridae.
Time period: Anisian to Rhaetian stages of the Triassic. 
Distribution: England, Wales, Germany and Russia.
Length: 4 to 6m.
Lifestyle: Carnivore/Piscivore.

Thanks, melt water from the mountains in northern France were chilling the swollen river causing Mastodonsaurus to pull itself onto the bank to warm its muscles but panicking the local fauna in the process.
