HEADCANNON: Malcom X Perci

In Malcom's young adults years, he leaves home with nothing but a small suitcase and a picture of his brothers, determined to make it big in Safe Haven, the glittering, wondrous city. This dream is stomped into the ground as Malcom finds out that not many people are willing to take a blind dragon in for a job, no matter how friendly he acts. Seeing a dragon in safe haven was that of a novelty, since they're so rarely seen inside large cities such as safe haven, so naturally, Malcom moving into Safe Haven certainly caught people attention, and one or two odd looks.

But Malcom didn't let that get him down. Doing as many odd jobs he was hired for, determined to make it big somehow! Washing windows, flipping burgers, gardener. Despite being blind Malcom put in his all on those jobs, and did every one with a happy smile on his face.

By chance, he ends up serving a meal to mister Zechariah, who is extremely tired after a long day at work. Despite also being a Peace keeper and working with some of Safe Haven's and the districts richest elite, Zechariah never lost his hospitality and kindness and is very thankful when Malcom brings him his ordered tea.

Sensing how tired he is just by his exhausted tone, Malcom tries to strike up a conversation with the yellow spotted cat, or he assumes it's a cat, can't see much other then coloured blurs with his vision. Zechariah, although still tired isn't at all put off by Malcolm and the two end up having a conversation for well over an hour. And when Zechariah mentions a dratted problem with how the flight classes for the flying students is affecting the students progress in the subject, Malcom casually suggests a simple solution that Zechariah didn't even think of.

He perks up, and asks Malcom if he had any other flying tips for the class, to which Malcom happily offers him. And then Malcom lets out an honest to god gleeful chirp when Zechariah offers him a job at the school, silly green dragon actually leaned over the counter and gave Zechariah a hug (which he awkwardly returned after a few seconds)

Show around by Zechariah Malcom quickly learns the area of the school and its grounds, and before he can blink, he is absolutely loved by the students and is apparently referred to as the 'cool teacher' by many.

But...he still feels, unaccomplished. His brothers are all out their doing much greater things then him: Marx is out helping in famous theatre production and is a farther to another child, Juliet. Fitch is out fighting against demons to keep everyone safe, Hatchet is a farther to his daughter, Amaris, and is helping to keep his wife's tea business alive.

He just feels, disappointed. Maybe he could do better, his older brothers were all doing better. He begins to think more about his brothers and it doesn't take long for him to get dreadfully home sick, but all his brothers are probably busy, they've got better things, surely.

One day, he needs a breather from listening to printable Winston drown on about school meetings and priorities, though being reluctant to leave at first, not wanting to be rude, Malcom steps outside into the schools gardens...where he comes across the odd sight of a strange red furred creature desperately looking for his lost top hat.

His name is Perci and he quickly asks him for help. Dorky old Malcom is...not sure how to tell this kind teacher that there top hat IS in fact on their head. What he instead does is while pretending to search for the hat in the bushes, he picks the hat off from Perci's head with his tail and the enthusiastically announces he's found the hat in the bushes!

The two end up having a blast and become really good friends in just a couple of minutes! Jabbering for hours about philosophical topics, rolling around in the dirt and having a laugh, Malcom feels as if it's been way too long since he's had fun with someone!! Turns out Perci is the language teacher and the two quickly hit it off as best bro's...and it doesn't take long for both of them to be secretly crushin' really hard on the other.

Thanks to other teacher friend Fabian organises a day off for Malcom and Perci to have a date, it was actually Malcom that asked Perci out, and Perci was all too eager and happily accepted the request for lunch. They have a blast on their small date and the two head bake to the school still giggling like love struck school boys.

Fabian along with every one else isn't surprised when the two become a couple, but they are very happy for them. The two make up two halves of a whole idiot and the are the heart of the school, very understanding and welcoming but can both come off as weird and confusing to people that don't know them.

After being in a relationship for a year its Perci that pops the question of marriage, he pretty straight forward about it and just blurts out the question right when the two were doing their shopping at the supermarket..and Malcom responds with an excited 'Sure!'

The two don't have a formal marriage, it's just a small little marriage with the close friends they've made at the school, they exchange rings and then share a happy wedding smooch. And then a few years later, with the help of Winston's wife Salvia, Malcom and Perci are able to have their own magically spawned child, who they name Primrose.

General facts:

-When Malcom and Perci had gotten married short after Perci told Malcom about the little bunny that told him about the universe (when in reality the little bunny was just wondering if the nice red man had any carrots she could much on). And then one day the two find the little bunny hopping around the ZPA grounds, and the two adopt the little fluffy show bunny as there pet, they name her Gumball.

-When Primrose was first introduced to Gumball she loved her!! She loves all creatures and she adores little old Gumball.

-When they first became parents and because Malcom was blind, he was so anxious over everything. He once went 2 weeks without sleeping and dropped asleep into a flower bed, letting baby Prim wriggle out of her baby reins and out of sight. When Perci DID find Malcom asleep in a flower bed and hugging a bunch of blue bells he shook him so hard that Malcom
Could feel his bones rattling and then he practically screamed at him that their baby was missing. For a whole DAY Malcom and Perci, as well as the staff at school then the town upside down looking for the little pink haired dragon baby, it gets to the point where they have to call in the police. Thankfully, officer Jill finds the little baby sitting on the highest branch in a tree in the park, Prim is much more focused on watching a mama bird care for her chicks in its nest then the commotion going down below. Malcom and Perci scream like they've unleashed a thousand tortured souls from Hell while officer Zill flies down the tree with baby Prim safely in his arms. When Malcom finally got his baby back he clung to her in desperate, sad, broken sobs and apologised over and over to his baby and how he's so so so sorry!! Prim giggled and happily enjoyed the attention. Perci then lead a sobbing Malcom back home. Malcom felt so ashamed of himself, how could he loose his own child?! It took a lot of husband kisses and snuggles from Perci to make Malcom happy again.

-Being a dragon and Malcom being the schools flight teacher Malcom teaches Prim about aerodynamics. Perci being the languages teacher, Perci teaches Prim about languages and different cultures. Miss Jackie and Alanzo teach Prim acting and dance. Miss Carrie teaches Prim about the embodiment and animals (and gives her tips for caring for Gumball) Fabian teaches her Psychology and Keiko and Chasetopher teach her about physical well being and health care.
