Another attempt at realistic drawings. This one, though, now that I look at it, still has very obvious anime influences. But it's more realistic than, say, the comic I uploaded yesterday. X3This was based on a picture of Dan Radcliffe, located here. It doesn't really look like him, though. If I was trying to draw a random boy, yay, it'd be great, but I wasn't, so I'm not very happy with it.
Argh. I'm going to try to get my realistic stuff up to par this summer, I think.

From the eyes up it looks like Dan...where you went wrong seems to be in the cheeks, nose, mouth (which look fine, just not all that Dan-like). Nice shading and such, though.

I'd say the main things that could change to make this look more "Dan-like" are to shorten the eyebrows (they don't go out that far in the pic), the front part of his hair is also somewhat more divided, and where the necklines start- they should be drawn somewhat deeper back. Er, yea, something like that.
However, I really like the shading, and his eyes are very Dan-like. Great jobs with the lips as well- somehow whenever I try and draw both lips on guys, they turn out loooking like a girl. Keep up the good work, and I hope my comments made sense.

Thanks! That really helps a lot. ^_^; I know I did the hair a bit off ... Heh, that's because by the time I was at the hair, I didn't think it looked enough like him to try to make the hair perfect. *snicker*
