Here's a new addition to the pack, Indygo. He's going to be part of the foundation stock for a project that has been about 5 years in the pursuit and making...but SHHHH I can't talk much about it yet, since it is still in its primary stages of development....but isn't he GORGEOUS? I fell in LOVE with his bright blue eyes....AWESOME!Related content

That was some of the allure...but as I work through this evolution I will be trying to put the more mastiff traits back in the line...a little bigger head (not gargantuan with excessive jowls and dewlaps) but a little more broad and more cheek muscles like an English Mastiff or Euro bred Dane.

is he a purebred dane?
his fur looks a little too thick and his tail looks too curly?
hahha, so i can't tell if that's just how the pups look or if he's a mix

No he's not purebred, he's 1/2 Anatolian Shepherd and 1/2 Great Dane...so his pups are 3/4 Great Dane and the coat is an intentional thing I like, especially living in Wyoming where temperatures are super cold about 8 months out of the year.

he looks kind of like a pup still,
&if he is, do you have any more recent pictures of him?
i'd love to see what he looks like as an adult! [unless, of course, he IS an adult in this picture, which would make me feel pretty dumb x)]
