Description
Large piece (22x30) executed in mixed media (acrylic, watercolor, india ink, gouache, charcoal) on 140lb hot press Fabriano Artistico. Roughly based on the concept of Odin's ravens, there is some vine like figures on the branches reminiscent of Nordic decorations.I sold the original: a bargain at $375... and have to admit that I miss it.

Thank you! I've been meaning to do more of these sorts of work when I find time and excess inspiration. (More work space would probably help too, as there are usually 5+ different mediums on the desk at any given time. )

Having space for such projects, let alone multiple, can be an issue; I have to pack my drawing board and artwork away due to space restrictions.

Oh yes... I am unfortunately confined to a (surprisingly) too small dining room table at the moment until I can make space in the house for a proper studio set up, with what I hope will be an oversized drafting table to work on. The angled workspace might help with my bad back, too.
I think in the meantime, I will work much smaller than this (22 x 30"). Maybe something closer to a medium large sketchbook size can be managed.

Where did you use charcoal in this picture? I can mroe or less guess where the gouache, watercolours etc. have been used, but I can't spot the charcoal
