Hey all MIUI / Faenza fans.I've decided to create a MIUI theme featuring Faenza icons and general style / look.
It's still in a very early stage but in the end I hope the make a full fledged theme with some variants (dark, light...)
Any suggestions?

I'm sorry to say that daily life and full time job have made it virtually impossible for me to pursue this and therefore it has stagnated in my todo list.

Thanks. Glad you like it. Unfortunately it's still not quite ready. I was using an old version as base for the icons. I'm redoing most of it with the latest version of faenza icons. It is however moving slow because of work and other projects but I promise I'l try and release at least an icon mtz soon.

Finally! Been hoping someone would do it for ages!
As far as suggestions go: are you going to use the new Faeience icons? ( [link] ). IMO they look even better than faenza.
For the dock I would use something liket the default Docky or Plank look (like this [link] )
Are you planning on skinning the statusbar and statusbar icons too? In that case I think the dark statusbar with light icons will work best.

Quite possibly I will do a Faience but since it too is still a WIP I'm not sure it will have all icons needed. As far as theming the rest goes, I will attempt to do a full theme, meaning status bar, context menus, dock etc. I'm thinking of having 2 variations, one with light icons and one with dark icons.
As for ETA, it will depend on work and how long it takes me to hack together a theme (rather new to this all).
Not quite sure how to go about the folders though. Keep a transparent folder or cover up icons inside the folder.
What are your thoughts?

I think it would be nice for the open folders to look something like this [link]
For the folder icon, I dont think the 4 small app icons really help towards the recognizability, so covering them up shouldn't be a problem. The normal folder icons will fit better in the theme.
Also, I think maintaining different version will be too much of a hassle? I would take the black statusbar with the appropriate icons, and see what fits from there.

Not much of a graphics wizard so ?ll see what I can do about the open folder but yeah, it would look great that way. As far as closed folders go, I've tried both with the app icons covered and without and prefer them covered. It really blends better so I'll be going that route.
I'll also be going for now with a dark status bar since it looks better and saves battery on AMOLED devices
As for your help, I'll be sure to note you when I hit a wall
