Analyzer. That’s a good word to describe Verdant, she will analyze you from hoof to ear and deduce what you do and like, she always liked to study the behavior of other ponies around her, it’s like a hobbie. Verdant is not a extrovert pony and you can see that by just participating in a group chat where she is in aswell, she won’t talk, only listen and rarely give her opinions on stuff. Verdant likes to study others’ behavior to get a starting point at the creation of a new character, she thinks it’s fun to reflect someone’s personality into a whole new entity! She is soft-spoken, calm and gentle, though, she is kind of workaholic and manages to put a lot of pression on herself because of her books, she wants everything to be perfect, she needs everything to be perfect, she wants ponies to like what she creates, to accept her and the amazing worlds she creates. She still has whole mind palace full of amazing ideas, but because of the fear of the public not being interested in it, she won’t work on them.

Verdant keeps up with the news to understand what the public is enjoying at the moment, to catch that wave and write something everypony will enjoy, she’s working on overcoming her fears and writing something she actually likes, and she’s proud of herself for getting the courage to do so.

Verdant’s childhood was pretty and magical, her most warm memories are the ones she shared with her parents, it is a family thing to have a business related to flowers, and it wasn’t different for her family, having the flower business at Canterlot kept they going for a really long time, and she enjoyed every second she had at the garden, helping her parents with the shop, watering the plants, plating new plants! It has became her passion, she really thought she would be destined to work with flowers, and she was happy about it, she would’ve loved a cutiemark related to flowers, it would remind her of her family every single time she’d look at it. When the cutiemark came, Verdant passed through a existence crisis, wondering where she would go and what she should do, she felt betrayed by life, thinking that she had been trained to work with flowers for her whole life, and given something totally new and different for her to do, she didn’t know. Her parents were there for her, being supportive and available, encouraging her to try, encouraging her to go. Verdant left home and lived in two cities, Manehattan and Las Pegasus, working as a journalist before moving to Ponyville and working as a journalist once again, she stays at home in her free time to write all of her fantasies, she hopes to publish them one day and go back to her house with all of the money, to live with her parents and take responsability of the Flower Shop her family owns.

- Verdant had the magical potential to enter Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns, she stayed there for 6 months before getting her cutiemark and having her breakdown. She left the school.

- She knows some “decorative” spells with floral concepts, she learned them to enchant ponies with the beauty of her favorite flowers.

- Verdant thinks that a night at the lake is the most inspiring place to write.

- She gives classes in Ponyville’s university, the structure is the same as the School of Friendship, that’s why her taste for clothes is the “Hipster Professor” type.
